    Ashford Hospital is looking to employ Registered Nurses/Enrolled Nurses for their Scrub/ Scout team. Suitable applicants with the right clinical background are encouraged to apply.

    As a Registered or Enrolled Peri Operative Nurse your responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver evidence based and quality clinical nursing care
  • Liaise and support the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure patient and staff safety
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Uphold, promote and practice according to the ACORN standards
  • Ashford Hospital is one of the largest private hospital in Adelaide, located 5kms for the CBD, with close proximity to public transport. Ashford Hospital is supported with 9 operating theatres, 24 bed ICU and an Emergency department. Ashford Hospital is a private, not-for-profit hospital and is a proud member of the Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated (ACHA) in South Australia.
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Post Graduate Certificate in peri operative (or working towards)
  • Working with Children check
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding of ACORN standards
  • If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2017-2021 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $28.71-$49.43 per hour)
