What you’ll be doing

 

As our Medical Editor: Education & Digital, you will provide medical editing services to support resources developed as part of our educational visiting programs, as well as other web-based information, reports and publications as required. In addition, you will help ensure content management is optimised, regularly assessed through the analysis and reporting of website statistics and adheres to digital UX and SEO best practice.

 

What you will need

 

  • A minimum of five years of experience as a medical editor.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail
  • A collegiate and supportive attitude towards writers, especially new writers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects and work to deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with content management systems, EndNote or other reference management systems, Microsoft Office applications, Photoshop and web analytics tools
  • Understanding and familiarity with online accessibility and usability standards, and skills in information design
