About the facility

Barwon Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Service (BMHDAS) provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues and their families. Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are client centred, accessible and family inclusive.

About the role

Provide clerical, secretarial and receptionist services to Barwon Health Mental Health, Drugs & Alcohol Services in order to support the service to provide courteous, efficient and clinically effective care for people with major mental illness and/or drug and alcohol issues.

The incumbent’s primary portfolio is supporting CRF-PARC program. Clerical, secretarial and receptionist services to support additional teams within the Mental Health Acute Intervention Services program will also be allocated, taking into account workload demands and service priorities.

About the culture

The CRF/PARC program has a strong team culture and values the diverse roles that make up the clinical and non-clinical team. The Administrative Assistant plays an integral role in supporting the clinical team and leadership team in ensuring the residential site operates smoothly and information management occurs in a timely manner.
