Holmesglen Private Hospital is seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant / VMO Coordinator to join their dynamic and professional team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with excellent customer service skills to step into a rewarding career.

As an Executive Assistant / VMO Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support in the following areas:
    • Your role will primarily be our VMO (Visiting Medical Officer) Coordinator
    • Coordinate Medical Advisory Committee meetings, agendas and minutes, attend MAC quarterly PM Meetings.
    • Secretarial assistance to the Executive Team
    • Exec Assist reception enquiry duties, including basic IT support.
    • Perform data collection
    • Requires a high-level of professionalism & confidentiality in all areas
    • Requires a high level of customer service at all times.
    • Requires at times to act as Payroll support, including managing payroll enquiries, payroll preparation

Holmesglen Private Hospital is a comprehensive 147 beds acute private hospital. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including an emergency department, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and general surgery. These services are supported by a 6-bed intensive care unit, 9-bed acute coronary care unit and 7 operating theatres.

Essential Criteria:

  • Administration experience in a Hospital/Healthcare environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work within a busy team
  • High-level requirement to prioritise workload and review processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Advanced Computer skills
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
