About The Role


We are excited to announce a permanent part time Administration Officer vacancy in the Refugee Health and Wellbeing Program located at Monash Health Community, 122 Thomas street, Dandenong.


This position is integral to the day to day functioning of the refugee health program and to ensuring timely and appropriate patient care. The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant team committed to providing high quality care to refugees and asylum seekers.

You have had experience in an administration role and thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You are committed to achieving results and delivering a high standard operational activity and patient care. What You Need:


  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on being receptive to patient needs

  • Experience working within a Customer Service environment

  • Highly developed computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the capacity to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

  • Display the ability to work within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment

  • Display a commitment to ongoing professional development

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and meet operational objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, constantly changing environment and manage competing demands

  • Effective time management skills

  • Experience with iPM (Patient Management System)

  • Previous experience with HMS/Harrison is preferred but not essential
