JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a unique role in that you will be the primary administrator for multiple allied health practices across Australia. This role is fast-paced, requires extraordinary organisation skills, fantastic people skills and ultimate adaptability.

On a daily basis you will:

  • Manage the diary of your assigned clients; making, rescheduling and cancelling appointments for new and existing patients
  • Invoice patients and their third-party payers, remit paid monies, resolve billing issues and follow up unpaid accounts.
  • Keep patient files current through data entry and electronic filing
  • Maintaining records to track referrals and service agreements
  • Manage the email inbox; responding to new and existing client queries, liaising with our client
  • Prepare and distribute reports
  • Review and improve established procedures
  • Make decisions on how to organise and prioritise your workload
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable attributes

  • The ability to research and problem solve
  • Interest and experience in writing and implementing procedures
  • Confident communicator
  • Previous experience working in an allied health practice
  • Working knowledge of key Industry funding schemes: National Disability Insurance scheme, health funds, medicare, department of veteran affairs and Work Cover
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Motivated to grow with the business
  • Self-starter - comfortable working remotely and able to stay focused to deliver the best possible work
  • Not easily flustered

Part-time hours: 15 per week

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00 – $29.00 per hour
