JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an applicant who can work well in a small team environment in a job share capacity in an established Podiatry practice. The applicant may need to work up to 7.00pm and be able to fill in at short notice and for annual leave, etc.

Regular hours will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays after training period.

Job Description:

  • Answering telephones
  • Meeting and greeting patients
  • Instrument sterilizing
  • Infection control
  • Managing patient appointments on a computerized diary
  • Billing patient appointments
  • Maintenance tasks such as tidying consulting rooms and patient waiting area
  • Taking payments and liaising with various health providers & Medicare
  • Additional administrative tasks

Preferred Criteria:

  • Reception and administration skills
  • Medical reception background
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
