Monash Health Intensive Care Units provide critical care services at Clayton, Dandenong and Casey sites. The Intensive Care Units work collaboratively to provide excellence in patient care to critically unwell patients.

Casey Hospital ICU is one year old and has a twelve bed capacity and Monash Health is currently building another Adult ICU at the state of the art Victorian Heart Hospital Campus in Clayton.

About the Role

The Personal Assistant (PA) will work closely with the Medical Director and Director Clinical Operations (Critical Care) to ensure the provision of safe and effective care to our ICU patients.

This is a full-time ongoing role, working from Monday to Friday. The role is based primarily at Clayton, with some travel required to and from other Monash Health sites. 

About You

You have previously proven yourself as an effective team player, and have provided high level administrative support to busy executives, in an EA or PA role. With strong written and verbal communication skills, you are hardworking, honest and respect confidentiality that comes with a role like this. You enjoy the challenges that come from working in a busy and dynamic setting where organisational priorities can change frequently and you are flexible to respond to changing needs without losing focus on the task at hand.

You are:

  • dedicated to doing your best work every day 

  • enthusiastic, compassionate and able to work both collaboratively and independently as needed

  • committed to supporting us in delivering outstanding healthcare to Victorians in our care 

What you need:

  • relevant experience in high level administrative support

  • well developed systems skills in a range of IT applications

  • a genuine interest in being the best you can be

  • Australian working rights

Previous administrative experience in healthcare will be highly regarded but is not essential.
