An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experiencedMental Health Clinician to join our community team at theAustin Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS)


Austin CYMHS INECOT (Inner Northeast Community Outpatient Team) is one of several outpatient teams for children and young people. It is a multidisciplinary team that offers a clinical service and case management to young people, aged between 0-18 years, experiencing a variety of complex and severe mental illnesses and disorders within the team's catchment areas. The team is located at the Heidelberg campus and operates within normal business hours.

INECOT is a vibrant, passionate and experienced multidisciplinary team creative, caring and committed in our work together to improve the mental health and potential of the children and young people we support. We value sharing our knowledge experience and ideas to provide a great and supportive team environment for all.

Our work encompasses clinical assessment, risk formulation, a variety of therapeutic interventions and support of children, young people and their families and carers. We also liaise closely with staff in a range of other sectors, such as schools, Child Protection, family and community systems.

Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses and Speech Therapists experienced and interested in working with children and adolescents with eating disorders and have family therapy training are strongly encouraged to apply as well as those who are passionate about the developmental and mental health needs of children, young people and their families/carers.
