Remuneration: $32.46 - $45.58 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 / 32 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
To provide safe and effective patient-centred midwifery care at Blacktown Hospital to the patients/clients and carers.
To work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary health team in the planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation of care within the unit. To ensure optimal outcomes for patients/clients and carers of the service through the promotion of best practice.

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current midwifery registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
 
Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in midwifery skills which could include midwifery course training
  2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  3. Demonstrated commitment to woman focused care
  4. Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  5. Demonstrated commitment to professional development
