What you'll be doing

To provide clinical oversight and coordination for the data provided by the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN), Cardiac Services to the Congenital Heart Alliance of Australia and New Zealand (CHAANZ) congenital heart disease (CHD) registry.
This role will work closely with a data manager to ensure data integrity by focusing on reviewing diagnosis codes to ensure they have been correctly translated from free text diagnosis fields and medical records.
 

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications (Medical/Science/Health related degree or equivalent)

  2. Demonstrated knowledge of Congenital Heart Disease

  3. Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, prioritisation, and organisation skills to communicate coding quality results to key stakeholders

  4. Demonstrated proficiency and accuracy with data entry and other computer software including Microsoft Office and external data capture requirements

  5. Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  6. Demonstrated ability of good time management, with an ability to manage multiple deadlines
