Provisional Fellow Nuclear Medicine NET (Neuroendocrine Tumours and Molecular Therapy) 0.5 FTE

Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Hospital

What you'll be doing The primary purpose of the role is to undertake clinical research related to patients with neuroendocrine tumours and other therapies (e.g., SIR-Spheres for liver cancer) and brain tumours.
The fellow will play a key role in supporting clinicians and scientists to integrate information from medical imaging, anatomical & molecular pathology and various clinical departments so as to optimise individual therapy for each patient and gather long-term follow-up and outcome data to best inform future treatment options.

  2. Advanced ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, including the sharing of appropriate information internally and externally with key persons or services
  3. Advanced ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise.
  4. Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to vary communication style in line with the understanding of the needs of diverse audiences
  5. Advanced ability to prioritise workloads and display a flexible approach to meet changing situations in a demanding and unpredictable clinical environment
  6. Commitment to participating in training and development opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in the area of emergency medicine
  7. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
