The Radiology Information System/Picture Archiving & Communication System (RIS/PACS) Radiographer Change Implementer will work on the rollout of the new RIS/PACS solution at a network of sites in either the MNC or NNSW LHD.
Working in close collaboration with the NSW eHealth-RIS-PACS Program, the Vendors, Clinicians, Management and staff across both the MNC and NNSW LHDs to ensure the new equipment and software are implemented as designed, to quality specifications, safely, on time and on budget.
Lead the change management and communication activities to ensure the new applications and equipment are implemented safely and effectively too all clinical and non-clinical staff from all professional groups.
Ensure the complex high impact clinical changes are implemented safely in clinical practice including across shifts outside normal business hours to ensure continuity of care and knowledge transfer between shifts is consistent.
Work in close collaboration with NSW eHealth teams, the Vendor, Clinicians, Management and staff to ensure the array of new and changed applications are implemented as designed, to quality specifications, safely and on time and on budget

Selection criteria

  1. Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer and current registration with the EPA (Radiation User Licence).
  2. Demonstrated a high level of knowledge and proficiency in Medical Imaging, quality assurance, education and change management.
  3. Advanced experience working with RIS/PACS systems and a very detailed knowledge of radiology workflows in a variety of areas in medical imaging departments.
  4. Demonstrate ability to deliver, manage, supervise and assess teaching or change management programs for a range of health workers including advanced organisational and communication skills required to manage change management activities for a multi-disciplinary medical imagining team.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge of testing a medical imaging system.
  6. Demonstrated advanced experience in preparing a computer system, staff and sites for a go live, including a post go live review process.
  7. 7. Advanced experience working with project tools such as risks and issues registers, checklists and schedules to meet deadlines on clinical projects.
  8. Valid unrestricted drivers’ licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment, including overnight stays as required.
