Registered Nurse - Emergency Paediatric
Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital

About the role:
The dedicated Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital Emergency Department Paediatric team is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Registered Nurse to join on a temporary basis! In this role you will provide compassionate person centred care within the hospital, ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. You will be supported in this role with a Clinical Nursing Unit Manager each day on both AM and PM shifts, as well as Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) support on morning shifts.

This position is a temporary Emergency Paediatric contract rotating morning and evening shifts between Mondays - Sundays. The morning shift is 8:00am – 4:30pm and the evening shift is 2:30pm – 11:00pm. The Emergency Department generally sees approximately 25 children per day. The Paediatric Zone will be supported by the Emergency Treatment Zone medical staff.

About you:
You are a highly motivated and diligent individual with post graduate qualifications in Emergency Nursing and/or Paediatrics. You will use your knowledge, experience and competence in the processes used by our Emergency Department, including the Patient Flow Portal, ED Whiteboard and iMS+ in this role. You will also call upon your resilience and ability to work independently and support a large team to provide excellent patient care and nursing management.
