An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced neuropsychologist to join the ABI Behaviour Consultancy (ABI BC) at theBrain Disorders Program Community Services. We are based at the Royal Talbot Campus of Austin Health. This position is a fixed-term full time position, part-time requirement negotiable.

The ABI Behaviour Consultancy is an approved NDIS provider of specialist behaviour support and therapeutic supports at Austin Health NDIS services. We provide community based positive behaviour support and work with individuals who demonstrate behaviours of concern as a result of an acquired brain injury. The ABIBC is committed to promoting a positive behaviour support approach and intervention for NDIS participants through the use of person centred evidence-based practice.

We are seeking a suitably qualified Clinical Neuropsychologist with experience in providing behaviour support and clinical interventions for individuals with a disability. You will be joining a collaborative team of neuropsychologists with strong skills in conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans, and providing training and interventions with individuals and their support network.

This role would suit a clinician who has an interest in working within an NDIS framework and developing further knowledge and skills according to the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.

Essential:*Current registration with the AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia and endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist. * Demonstrated skills and experience at a Core Behaviour Support Practitioner level as outlined in the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
