About South West 4, General Medicine at Monash Health


Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.


South West 4 is specialised acute general medicine with ward based telemetry management. We are one of two wards in Monash Health to initially introduce the ward governance model. The model has a focus on adapting innovative change to effect and provide exceptional care to our patients. Under the governance structure, Registered Nurses will be encouraged to communicate in harmony with Medical, Allied Health and Pharmacy leads to implement care plans.


About The Role and You


We are seeking an Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) to work closely with and assist the Nurse Manager lead the Ward. This is an excellent clinical leadership opportunity in your clinical career to lead by example, mentor a team and utilise your proven organisational, clinical and communication skills. As a key member of the Nursing leadership team, we welcome your input, and value your ideas and fresh eyes to help us be our best.


Your development of course does not finish with this role. A nurse educator is available to support you; while your Nurse Manager will help you take your leadership aspirations further should you wish to do so.


This is an ongoing part-time (.6 eft) position working across a 24/7 rotating roster.

What You Need:



  • current experience acute General Medicine and rythmn monitoring

  • previous clinical leadership exposure to running of a ward in ANM capacity

  • experience in managing portfolios associated with the National standards

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Australian working rights
