About Welcome to Wellbeing

About the role

We are looking for a dietitian with a passion for and experience in the treatment of eating disorders. Should you be successful in your application, your role will involve providing assessments and treatment for individuals across the lifespan presenting with weight, eating, feeding and body image concerns.

This position is suitable for a contractor dietitian who is looking to transition into a private practice role (3-5 days per week) and who is interested in managing and growing their caseload within a nurturing and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide face-to-face consultations across both our Sydney CBD and Hornsby Practices as well as providing Telehealth services. The position is ideally suited for a dietitian looking for independence and flexibility to be able to set their own consulting hours.

Essential Criteria 

  • Accredited Practising Dietitian and current member of DAA
  • Professional indemnity & public liability insurances, Working with Children’s Check and eligibility for an ABN 
  • Experience in assessment and treatment of eating disorders 
  • Understanding of the Health at Every Size (HAES) and Non-Diet Approaches and ability to practice within these models
  • Formal training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E), Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM), and/or Family-Based Therapy (FBT) for eating disorders is desired but not essential
