Safer Care Victoria was established in January 2017 to ensure our health services are providing safe, high-quality care to patients/clients: every time, everywhere. As well as monitoring the standards of care provided, Safer Care Victoria is partnering with patients/clients, clinicians, and health service managers to support the continuous improvement of health care.

The Senior Project Officer will join the Office of the Chiefs to lead key pieces of work for the Principal Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Advisor, while also supporting the wider multidisciplinary team on key projects.

This role will require a close working relationship with the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, the Nursing and Midwifery Advisor, the Principal MCH Advisor and the other team members in the branch and a range of nursing and midwifery and MCH leaders and stakeholders across government and the broader health sector.

This dynamic role requires someone with a passion for healthcare improvement, an understanding of the nursing and midwifery and maternal and child health professions and offers exposure to the work of senior health system leaders.
