Emergency Department - Cessnock District Hospital

Cessnock is a vibrant town, surrounded by countryside and full of affordable dinning and accommodation and is located only a short distance away from the Hunter Valley vineyards. Cessnock District Hospital is a 64-bed facility that provides emergency, surgical and general medical care to the area’s growing population. They have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and proactive Enrolled Nurse to join their Emergency Department Team!

About the role:
This position will see you working within the Emergency Department, delivering nursing services to patients/clients in a planned and systematic way that promotes holistic care focussed on the individual patient/client needs and rights. Upon commencement you will receive an orientation and will be supported by the skilled team.

About you:
You will be a hardworking and enthusiastic individual who can persevere in challenging situations. You will have great interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to different communication styles and possess strong time management and organisational skills for this dynamic environment. Emergency / Acute Care experience will be highly regarded.
