Grade2 Dietitian

Permanent, full time40 hrs per weekwith ADOs (part time negotiable)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dietitian (Grade2)with at least a fewyears' experienceto join our Nutrition and Dietetics team. Thisis adedicated leave backfill position and will be the second of its kind in our department.

Details of position

The personwill be expected to work across all campuses,inall clinical areas andall settings.Work allocation could be in any of our clinicalstreams:specialist medicine, surgical/gastro/ICU, oncology, paediatrics andmental health, sub-acute care and home-based services, ambulatory care andHome Enteral Nutrition.The personworksunder the direction of the Grade 4 operations lead, and on a daily basis under the direction ofan allocated team leader. Theyparticipate in clinical supervision,department meetings andindepartment-wide projects as allocated.Weekend work may be included.Refer totheposition description formore information.

Essential knowledge and skills:

Experience in a tertiary hospital environment.

Experience in a range of clinical areas and settings.

About the Nutrition and Dietetics Department

We have 35?dietitians working across all three sites of Austin Health, in acute care, sub-acute care, rehabilitation and community programs. We function as one department and work in clinical teams in a supportive,friendly environment. Our work includes clinical services, research, quality and improvement, food service liaison,staff and student education.
