You will join one of the world’s leading and connected rural health services as an Occupational Therapist where we are driven by a single goal; healthier rural people- thriving communities. Care is at the heart of the Occupational Therapist in Western NSW Local Health District. The Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing quality services to patients/ clients in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs.

Where you’ll be working:
This position is located in the Occupational Therapy Department, Orange Health Service. Our Occupational Therapy team consists of both senior and junior staff who work across a range of clinical areas including paediatrics, hand therapy, acute services, rehabilitation, subacute and community. We work closely as a team and strive to ensure our therapists are providing high quality evidence based care to our patients.

With a focus on innovative models of care, Orange Health Service is the largest rural hospital in New South Wales and the regional teaching, referral and trauma centre for the Central West. Newly developed in 2011 on the grounds of Bloomfield Campus, the 520 bed state of the art facility has a 200 bed general hospital, with five operating suites and 60 specialised treatment areas.
