Regis Rosebud

This 129 bed residential home is located in the heart of Rosebud, one of Melbourne’s favourite seaside holiday destinations. Regis Rosebud is perfectly positioned to enjoy the Peninsula and the surrounding vineyards, olive groves, historic country houses and gardens and national parks.

About you

We are searching for an experienced General Manager with demonstrated knowledge, understanding and passion for the Aged Care industry. Together with your savvy business insights, interpersonal and leadership capability, you will effectively manage all areas of the Home’s operations. As a General Manager, you are running a small business whilst making a significant impact to the lives of our elders.

The role is charged with ensuring the efficient and effective management of all resources to support day to day operations, occupancy and funding (ACFI), with the goal of making Regis Rosebud a sustainable business and a preferred choice of residential care for existing and prospective residents. This role will require you to ensure the delivery of high quality care and services for our customers, operate within a financially sustainable business model, provide a safe, motivating, professional and friendly workplace and meet or exceed all regulatory and Accreditation compliance requirements.

In recognition of the criticality of the General Manager role within Regis, you will be eligible to participate in the Regis Incentive Program. An annual bonus opportunity of up to 20% of base pay is applicable to this role.

What you’ll bring

Tertiary qualification in a business related discipline (advantageous)
At least three years successful and proven management experience in Aged Care/or Health with proven leadership skills managing a diverse team of people
Strong business acumen and understanding of financial and KPI reporting
High level of emotional intelligence, interpersonal and consultation skills
Demonstrated ability to mentor and direct teams in performance
Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and key business indicators
A hands on approach to your role with a focus on customer service and leadership
A robust approach to managing your time effectively and ability to work within deadlines
Demonstrated ability to effectively improve customer service and provide quality care within a structured quality framework

In return we offer a very supportive team environment thanks to our substantive corporate support framework. You would be supported by a network of Subject Matter Experts and considerable back-end administration. Some support teams constantly rove across our Homes; some support is provided from our state or national office. The intention of our corporate support framework is to reduce workload at the frontline, and to provide expert skills and advice when its needed.

To be eligible to join the team at Regis we require the following:

Consistent with State and Territory public health orders and with Regis’ mandatory vaccination policy, all candidates must produce evidence that they have received the current (i.e. 2021) seasonal influenza vaccination or medical evidence to Regis’ satisfaction of an accepted clinical contraindication to receiving the influenza vaccination
