Monaro Early Intervention Service (MEIS) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team, to provide therapy and supports to children up to 18 years and their families.

MEIS is a well-established early intervention and therapy service in Cooma NSW, operating as an NDIS Registered Provider across the Snowy Monaro region.

The position involves:

  • Working collaboratively as one of two Occupational Therapists in a small multidisciplinary team
  • Working with children with a range of disabilities, developmental delays and learning difficulties and their families
  • Providing evidence-based therapy and supports in home, educational and community settings
  • Working full time or part time, with flexible work and working remotely encouraged.

The skills and experience we are seeking are:

  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy, recognised by OT Australia
  • Current AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in Occupational Therapy, especially working with children and families
  • Using family centred practices and delivering therapy in natural environments
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, including strong communication skills
  • Commitment to working in the disability sector, including an understanding of the NDIS
  • Skills with computer applications including client management systems
  • Current driver’s licence and Working With Children Check (WWCC).
