We specialise in evidence-based early intervention practices using contemporary Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). We currently provide services to children between the ages of 6 months and 10 years old. We use a person centered approach and parent coaching is a significant component of our service delivery model. 

About the role 

Due to continued growth, Aspire is seeking an experienced and passionate Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) to join the organisation as Clinical Director. In this role you will provide oversight of clinical and operational management across the organisation and report directly to the CEO.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Clinical governance
  • Quality of service delivery
  • Training, development and retention of staff
  • Performance management of staff
  • Supporting implementation of our growth plan

You will be the type of person who is driven, passionate and has the clinical skills set to drive change and growth.

Essential requirements 

  • Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) certification for a minimum of 5 years
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience with dual diagnoses - stress/anxiety in kids with autism
  • Experience and confidence with public speaking
  • An open mind toward learning and growth
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Problem-solving/critical thinking
  • Willingness to lead with a positive attitude and thrives in a collaborative environment 
  • Conducting common assessments (Vineland, VB-MAPP, PEAK, etc.)
  • Experience using OBM to manage clinical staff
  • Experience managing up to 5 BCaBAs AND BCBAs

Job responsibilities 

  • Maintaining a small caseload 
  • Conducting intake meetings and overseeing the intake process 
  • Overseeing the development of curriculum, programming, and behaviour plans
  • Oversight of clinical utilization-supervision, report writing, consultations
  • Supervising programs and Behaviour Analysts
  • Performance management and ensuring team members reach KPIs 
  • Leading staff team meetings
  • Providing continuing education for Clinical Managers/BCBAs
  • Case management/case conceptualization
  • Providing team-building opportunities for team members 
  • Staying current with research and new methodologies
  • Promotional services for the clinic 
  • Development of Clinical & Business Goals to sustain and support growth
  • Training & Retention of Staff
  • Developing and Mentoring Staff using ABA and OBM research

Desirable 

  • Experience working with adolescence and adults 
  • Experience with severe behaviour disabilities and restrictive practices 
  • Theoretical and practical experience in relational frame theory (RFT) and acceptance and commitment training (ACT) 
  • ESDM certification 
  • Theoretical and practical experience with feeding programs
