Remuneration: $62.85 - $64.01 p.h
Hours Per Week: 16 (required Tuesday and Wednesday)

Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide Specialty Health Network delivering health care to adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems across community, inpatient and custodial settings.

Responsible for managing the procurement of clinical products and equipment. The position will also liaise with clinicians across JH&FMHN. The position is responsible for policy and procedure development and should be familiar with TGA licensing, standards and Ministry of Health guidelines concerning the selection and management of clinical products and equipment.

  • Current authority to practice as a registered nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and a current NSW driver’s license
  • Significant clinical and operational experience at a senior level
  • High level written, verbal communication and negotiation skills and an ability to work efficiently with others to solve problems
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial and resource management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical requirements for medical and surgical products and equipment procurement
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience
  • High level computer skills, database management and relevant computerised inventory systems
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network
