WHAT YOU WILL MANAGE & GROW

  • This company is looking for an experienced medical sales professional with hospital sales experience to execute a business plan, throughout Melbourne, Victoria, visiting customers with the focus on maintaining and growing sales of 2 niche products and launching a new product!
  • You will manage and prioritise your workload and be able to work autonomously, you will be able to multi-task and manage a diverse mix of responsibilities and challenges.
  • You will need to conduct ongoing (minimum quarterly) consignment stock-takes within relevant hospital accounts to ensure that stock is rotated and used before the expiry date.
  • Your customers will be surgeons, NUM's, nurses and related staff, in the peri-operative & OR environment in hospitals and private rooms/clinics.
  • Much of your time will need to be spent in theatre, providing case support, including training surgeons and related clinicians.
  • Through the execution of your territory and national strategy, you will expand the utilization of your line of products in targeted accounts through communicating scientific/clinical features and benefits of your products to potential clients and current customers and use data to win business and differentiate your products from competitors.
  • You will need to learn all the technical aspects of the product range to sell effectively and conduct physician and related staff training.


WHAT EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED?

  • University qualifications or equivalent work experience.
  • You will have at least 5+ years of hospital sales experience in pharma and/or device sales, with strong clinical knowledge and an understanding of the hospital landscape. 
  • You will be used to managing customer relationships and growing your territory’s market share, with a hunger and drive to win new business.
  • The right attitude and a demonstrated track record of account managing existing customers and growing market share is the most important aspect of this role.
