The Role

Open Arms have an exciting new position open working as Assistant Director Workforce Planning & Development working under the National Director for Clinical Innovations.

The successful candidate is responsible for delivering high quality advice and professional services with limited guidance to Open Arms in the areas of consolidating workforce expansion activities, oversighting projects, and undertaking workforce planning and development, including national training.

This role involves applying creative and innovative approaches to foster best practice clinical service delivery, exercising sound professional judgement.

This position will require professional leadership, an ability to build capability and act as a resource to the Open Arms National Operations teams and knowledge of working in an agile manner.

This role offers the chance to be a part of an organisation that is making a difference in the lives of our military veterans and their families.

Essential Criteria

There are no mandatory clinical qualifications required. Qualifications, skills and experience in mental health, psychology, organisational psychology, social sciences, humanities or a related field, workforce planning and development, training and assessment, change management, and project management are highly regarded.

The occupant of this role will be required to demonstrate:
