An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced clinician with a strong interest and demonstrated experience in the management of acute behavioural disturbances in the health setting, and a commitment to excellence to join the very experienced and dedicated CETD VPMT team.

What you'll be doing
Education and training relevant to violence prevention and management, and working in collaboration with the wider CETD team in talent development strategies.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or eligibility for membership of AASW or Speech Pathology Australia. Registered Nurses must have relevant clinical or education qualifications. Allied Health professionals to have relevant post registration clinical or education qualification and/or equivalent extensive experience. Holds current NSW drivers licence.
- Demonstrated and effective leadership skills including role modelling, interpersonal skills, communication and team building, relationship building, negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated effective educational leadership, with experience and commitment to develop and influence leadership development and a positive workplace culture.
- Demonstrated current and extensive knowledge and experience of the Violence Prevention and Management Framework and practical training components, and an ability to meet the requirements of the Violence Prevention and Management Medical History Questionnaire (HETI).
- A demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate an educational imperative with demonstrated experience in training groups, while ensuring a sustainable model.
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills, including computer skills and the ability to research and write reports using appropriate technical computer applications.
- Recognised qualifications in Workplace Training; or completion of the NSLHD Teaching and Learning Series with demonstrated experience in competency assessment and feedback or equivalent.
