What you'll be doing To provide high quality medical care to patients presenting to the Hospital, including assessment, investigation, treatment and referral for ongoing admission/transfer or retrieval.   1. Current General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  2. At least three (3) years public hospital experience with a specific interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and rural health. Applicants to have DRANZCOG certificate or completing their DRANZCOG training.
  3. Competence in performing adult and paediatric basic/advanced life support as part of a rural multidisciplinary team, knowledge of procedures required for stabilisation of patient prior to retrieval.
  4. Knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of general medical practice conditions.
  5. Demonstrate an interest in and /or commitment to adapting new models of care, an understanding of the systematic processes in the provision of health care understanding of change management processes.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education to develop and consolidate personal skills and competencies for enhancement of professional capacity.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to behaviours which align to the NSW Health CORE values and MNCLHD Values, goals and strategies.
