Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics & Recovery

About the role: 
Belmont Hospital is seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses to provide compassionate person centred care across the Anaesthetics & Recovery and Post Anaesthetics Care Unit. This role will see you ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and best outcomes. The Unit is staffed Monday to Friday and shifts are staggered with the earliest shift starting at 7:00am and the latest commencing at 11:30am finishing at 8:00pm, with the occasional overtime. This position also includes on call shifts during after hours and on weekends. You will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator and fellow senior staff and be provided with an orientation day and supernumerary days on commencement to support your development. 

Where you'll be working: 
This position is within the Anaesthetics and Recovery Unit at Belmont Hospital. Belmont Hospital provides services in ED, Medical, surgical, coronary care, midwifery group practice, various outpatient clinics and a 16 bed sub-acute unit. Belmont Hospital is located on the spectacular Lake Macquarie providing many fantastic ways to spend your leisure time. The Hunter Valley and Port Stephens are also within a short distance and make this location truly appealing.

About you: 
The successful Registered Nurses will be motivated and compassionate individuals. You will have the ability to work both independently and within a team environment to effectively engage with the multidisciplinary team and Medical Staff and report to senior staff members. You are also a critical thinker and have the capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner. You will have current Anaesthetics and or Recovery experience.
