Job Description
This versatile role involves working with people who've sustained a physical or psychological injury and helping them return to their previous daily living activities at work and home.
Manage a caseload of 25-30 cases
Assess client needs
Develop strategies and interventions for a safe return to pre-injury activities
Play an important role in a multidisciplinary approach
The successful recruit will provide initial assessments, early intervention assessments, home assessments, worksite assessments, ergonomic assessments, functional capacity assessments, job task analyses and case management services.
You'll work across various schemes including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
About you
You'll be a driven and energetic professional with:
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration
A qualification in occupational therapy
Strong communication skills
An ability to build strong relationships with customers
Compassion and kindness
The ability to work on your own and in a close-knit team
Excellent time management skills
A passion for your work and a desire to make a difference
The ability to grow our services
A current driver's license and car
