About the role

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager role provides the opportunity to further develop leadership skills and
contributes to the ongoing development of our progressive Recovery Model of
Care. You will be confident managing the unexpected, an excellent communicator
and a highly skilled clinician who can work autonomously yet simultaneously as
a flexible team player. You will be committed to working with
consumers and families to achieve the highest level of independent function,
leading to successful community integration and improved quality of life
outcomes for consumers.

  • Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australian (NMBA) via AHPRA

  • Post Graduate qualifications relevant to the position and/or leadership and management

  • Research, publication and public presentation skills

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
