This position is graded as a Social Worker Level 4, Occupational Therapist Level 4, Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1 & 2. Graduates from the Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health (Djirruwang Program) may be appointed as a Counsellor Level 4.

Manning Mental Health Services is seeking a compassionate and caring Clinical Leader to lead multi-disciplinary clinical services across multiple Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) sites in the Lower Mid North Coast Sector of HNELHD. 

This position will lead the CAMHS team across the Lower Mid North Coast area, working closely with the CAMHS Psychiatrist and registrar in delivering patient centred services engendering trust and confidence. CAMHS is a community based service that has close relationships with the Manning Mental Health Inpatient Unit, Nexus CAMHS unit and the paediatric ward at Manning Base Hospital. As the Clinical Leader, you will ensure the provision of excellent client care within the acute CAMHS Community Team environment in order to maximise the health outcomes for the community in which the clinical service functions. You will also effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the CAMHS Community Teams including clinical, operational and people management. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday and will be supported with educational opportunities for career development, organisational and self-improvement. 

Our successful candidate will possess extensive contemporary experience and expertise in assessment, intervention, clinical management and evaluation of best practice mental health clinical outcomes for children, adolescents and their families in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health and/or Community Mental Health Service setting. You will also have proven leadership skills and the ability to coach, mentor, encourage and guide others to reach their full potential and achieve team objectives and quality improvement strategies. 

Job share arrangements will be considered.
