Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our Aged Health team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital!

Do you have current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and 7 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 5 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field?

Do you have proven ability to consult, review, and develop, both new and existing policies and procedures within the relevant specialty?

A vacancy exists for a highly motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive Aged Health team.

The CNC is an expert practitioner who facilitates sound evidence based clinical practice through research and leadership.

The CNC is a role model to peer nursing groups within the field of Aged Health and plays a vital role in health promotion, education and continuously reviews practice to ensure that excellence is achieved in patient care.

The CNC works collaboratively with all staff within the hospital including the broader Aged Health team, patients, patient families and carers to ensure optimal outcomes for all patients.

To be considered for this role you must have...

  • The ability to participate in a Monday-Friday roster

  • Recent Aged Health experience in an acute hospital setting (highly desirable).
