About the role:

The Hospital Assistant Grade 2 position at Blayney Multi Purpose Service is pivotal in the provision of catering and cleaning services to our residents living at our facility This role requires a dynamic and motivated person, who has sound knowledge and experience in the provision catering and cleaning services in the Emergency Care, Aged Care Services and Acute care settings with a focus on the person at the centre of everything we do.

Where you’ll be working:
Blayney Multi Purpose Service, a part of the Western NSW Local Health District. Blayney is located in the Central Tablelands of NSW, 243 kilometres west of Sydney, 40 kilometres from picturesque Orange and only 38 kilometres from Bathurst. Blayney is primarily an agricultural town but also includes large mining and mineral exploration industries.

Blayney was redeveloped to become a Multipurpose Service (MPS) in 2003. It has five acute/sub-acute beds, 20 high care residential aged care places and four transitional aged care beds. Services include 24-hour emergency care and outpatient services, ambulatory care services, transitional aged care services and a range of integrated primary and community health care services supported by the onsite HealthOne.
