About our Surgical Ward (Ward 33) at Monash Health


Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.


The Surgical Ward (Ward 33) is located at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. Ware are a 40 bed, fast paced surgical unit with a main clinical focus is Upper GI, Vascular, Urology, Gynaecological, ENT and Facio-Max surgery patients from minor to major surgical cases.


About The Role


We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team within either Full or Part time Permanent capacity.


We are committed to working with our wider multidisciplinary team and showcase our professional best. We are committed to providing a caring and supportive work environment for all of our staff members.


We offer and support you to broaden your skills and gain exposure in our diverse medical ward with a full-time educator and very supportive staff to help you transition into the position.


This role will suit you if you hold;



  • Exposure to surgical care nursing and/or acute clinical care (highly desirable)

  • Commitment to providing best safe practice and quality care to patients and their families

  • Flexibility to work a 7 day rotational roster

  • Work collaboratively with a supportive and passionate team

  • Current AHPRA nursing registration

  • Working rights to Australia
