An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Administration Team Leader(Revenue & Service Support), to join our Specialist Clinics Department.

Specialist Clinics provide planned non-admitted services that require the focus of an acute setting to ensure the best outcome for a patient. These services are an important interface in the health system between acute inpatient and primary care services.

The Specialist Clinics Administration Team Leader (Revenue & ServiceSupport) performs a variety of supervisory and administrative activities in support of the department's business operations.This position is responsible for the supervision and day to day operations of the Revenue & ServiceSupport administration staff, within Specialist Clinics. 

This position will ensure all departmental administrative activities are executed and in alignment with the DHHS access policy, business goals and objectives.

The role will drive a team-based approach providing administrative staff with knowledge, education and training to uphold a high quality of performance, whilst maintaining staff professional development.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading an Administrative team in a healthcare environment or similar 

  • Demonstrated ability to supervise team workflows to deadlines and prioritise team and own tasks; 

  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care and a patientcentered approach to service delivery. 

  • Demonstrated ability in the accurate and timely analysis and reporting of agreed KPI’s and aged debt;

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, data intensive transactional environment;

  • Demonstrated initiative in continuous improvement of processes and procedures

  • High proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams);

  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive professional relationships with various stakeholders across a range of organisation directorates
