Dates:
8 March ongoing - until a Permanent doctor starts
( min 4 weeks locum placement if possible )

About the role:

• Locum will see approximately 30 patients per day or 150 per week
• A sole practice, you will be the only GP in the practice. Full nursing support is available.
• Using Medical Director and Pracsoft at the practice
• General Practice ( with focus on Indigenous Health ). You should to be familiar with or willing to learn and perform Health Checks ( Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander, 4yro, 45 - 49 & 75+ ) and Care Plans
• The GP will be expected to perform Pap Smears and children immunisations ( when our Practice Nurse is away and immunisations are booked in )
• You may need to visit the nursing homes or complete a home visit for our regular patient if requested ( this is not very often )

Pay rate:
Clinic prefers to pay 65% of the daily income for patients visits - but can offer $6, 000 per week ( $1, 200 per day ) paid on a weekly basis ( whichever is the greatest amount )

Hours of work:
Monday. 8:30am – 5:00pm
Tuesday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Wednesday. 8:30am – 5:00pm
( closing for lunch hour 12:30 – 1:30pm )

Thursday 7:00am – 3:00pm
Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm
( closing for lunch: 11:30am – 12:00 )

GP will not be required to be on call

Qualifications:

• GP must be generally registered. DPA area so can access MDRAP/PEP for the provider number.
• FRACGP, FACRRM
• DPA location and 482 Visa sponsorship available.

Practice will provide:

• Car hire
• Accommodation & flights will be paid for the GP only
• Accommodation is at a self contained apartment within walking distance to the practice.
