IQVIA is looking for a Registered Nurse located in or near Dubbo NSW.

This position is casual approx. 2 hours (1 hour travel, 30 min infusion, 30 min post completion of infusion) every month and will see you administer an IV cannulation infusion to the designated patient.

These patients are been treated for different types of cancer (medication is an immunotherapy drug)

Patients initially receive 10 infusions in hospital then move out into the community where they receive an infusion once a a month. The nurse will need to pick up the product from the local hospital pharmacy or the local pharmacy. The patient visit requires a pre - call to the patient and pharmacy and a post infusion report needs to be completed. Any adverse events must be reported within 1 business day.

The infusion can be arranged at a time that suits the nurse and patient, keeping in mind the hospital and pharmacy opening hours, plus or minus 2 days of the due date.

Essential skills:

• RN (Current Registration)
  
• Excellent IV Cannulation skills
  
• Portacath access experience
  
• High attention to detail
  
• Current/ full/ unrestricted driver's licence
  
• IT Proficient
  

Desirable skills:

• Flexible with time and days
  
• Community Nursing Experience
