About the Role


An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly experienced Physiotherapist/s to join the Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (AMP) team at Monash Health in a full time or part time capacity until mid-May 2022.


This position is based at Monash Medical Centre Emergency Department and integrated into our broader AMP team, with the opportunity to work at Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital Emergency Departments and to conduct AMP clinics such as OAHKS and the Back and Neck Clinic. Weekend work and work on public holidays in our Emergency Departments is a core requirement of this role.


About You


You will possess a strong patient-centred focus, be highly skilled in the acute assessment and management of musculoskeletal complaints, and have well developed leadership and communication skills. Experience in both adult and paediatric care is beneficial. The AMP is expected to participate in competency based training and assessment to ensure credentialing of skills and maintenance of high standards of care. Extensive clinical experience and post graduate qualification in the field of musculoskeletal/sports physiotherapy or progression towards this are essential. What you need:



  • Proven musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience 

  • Knowledge and experience working closely with an interprofessional team

  • Current practicing physiotherapy AHPRA registration

  • Current Drivers Licence

  • Post Graduate qualification (or progression towards this) in Musculoskeletal or Sports Physiotherapy
