You will be joining a local health district working in a child and youth mental health hospital setting.

Your new role
This opportunity will see you working as a confident and experienced Registered Nurse, with extensive post graduate experience in both the management and leadership of child and youth mental health clinical service delivery. You will be responsible for a number of direct reports, evaluate and assess the services delivered, management of internal and external stakeholders, as well as be responsible for finances and relevant KPI's for the department. Other key components of this position include clinical care delivery, strategic leadership, HR management, safety measures and professional development.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision as you will be required to make independent judgements
• Experience and confidence in assessing, problem solving and mitigating risk
• Extensive knowledge of mental health issues and how they effect the lives of children, young people and their families
• Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements, management methodologies, and experience contributing to and influencing change from evaluations
• Must be a Registered Nurse List A with current NSW APHRA Registration
• NSW Drivers License and ability to travel in this role
• Background check and WWCC required for this role
