Selection Criteria

1. Health Science of Applied Science Bachelor Degree in Leisure, Recreation, or Diversional Therapy or equivalent as recognised by Diversional and Recreation Therapy Australia.
2. Demonstrated high-level written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated understanding of therapeutic interpersonal skills.
3. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
4. Demonstrated ability delivering diversional therapy in a healthcare setting with clients who have health, disability or aged related functional impairments.
5. Demonstrated experience in client goal development.
6. Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice to diversional therapy.
