Selection Criteria
- Health Science of Applied Science Bachelor Degree in Leisure, Recreation, or Diversional Therapy or equivalent as recognised by Diversional and Recreation Therapy Australia.
- Demonstrated high-level written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated understanding of therapeutic interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability delivering diversional therapy in a healthcare setting with clients who have health, disability or aged related functional impairments.
- Demonstrated experience in client goal development.
- Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice to diversional therapy.
