Registered Nurse – Medical Unit
Permanent Part Time - 32 hours per week
Nurses & Midwives Enterprise Agreement - RN Grade 2 (YP2 > YP11)
We currently have ongoing hours available in our Medical Unit for a suitably qualified Nurse. Experience or post graduate qualifications in Critical Care would be highly regarded, however are not essential.

Our preferred candidate will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Excellent organisational skills
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Commitment to oversee the processes required for a quality service with a patient centred focus
- Flexibility to work all shifts
- A commitment to a team approach to care delivery
Candidates with the following would be highly regarded:
- Recent critical care (HDU, CCU, ICU or ED) experience
- Recent experience in a Medical Unit
- Interest in palliative care

The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is a customer focused health organisation providing acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential care and community health services to 45,000 people in the rural, urban residential, agricultural and industrial areas located within the Baw Baw Shire and beyond. The administrative headquarters are located at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul, approximately 100kms east of Melbourne.
