The Position
St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals are seeking applications form suitably qualified and experienced Registered Midwives to join our Maternity service as a leader in the provision of exceptional patient care.
Opportunities are now available for experienced Registered Midwives to join maternity services within the birthing suite, nursery, neonatal and antenatal/postnatal units.
Positions will be offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis, working 70 hours (0.92FTE) per fortnight. Flexibility is required to cover a variety of am shifts, as well as participate in the on-call roster.
The successful candidate will have:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife.
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care/relevant environment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Well-developed skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving.
- Knowledge of relevant acts, codes and standards relevant to current practice.
- Commitment to personal and professional development.
