About the role

The Eastern Health Learning and Teaching Directorate have an exciting opportunity for a senior registered nurse who is passionate about Emergency Nursing to join their dynamic team in the position of Clinical Support Nurse within the Emergency Department at Box Hill Hospital. This role is positioned within the clinical setting and is responsible for providing direct education, mentorship and supervision of nursing staff and students within the Emergency Department. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you should possess:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse


• Post Registration qualification: Emergency/Critical Care Graduate Certificate or above


• Recent acute clinical experience at a senior level (CNS or above)


• Experience and expertise in mentoring and supervising novice clinicians


• Excellent communication skills


• Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation
