Supporting the claims teams developing the most effective return to work, return to life and recovery strategies and deliver the right customer experience every time. This role is predominately coaching and project based, providing and supporting the claims teams to achieve positive Injury Management practices, compliance and iCare service standards as well as assisting on a number of other current projects .
Your Responsibilities
- Support the Injury Leader and team achieve minimum expectations on projects
- Work directly with claims teams across several segments assisting worker outcomes and injury management strategies
- Provide specialist Injury Management coaching and one on one support to team members regarding claims management strategy and project outcomes
- Monitor Injury Management Plans and provide support and coaching to meet quality standards and compliance
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Support Case Managers in areas such as Medical Spend initiatives and payment of medical, hospital and rehab
- Support RTW Programs and iCare Foundation programs
- Work on a number of different projects in the Central P&Q Injury Management Team
- You are able to extract data and identify trends and report outcomes
- Sound communication skills
- You have knowledge of Injury Management functions and iCare service standards
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Exercise Science, Nursing or other Allied Health Field) is mandatory.(it is not mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in Injury management in Insurance/workers insurance
- Experience working in project and coaching areas desirable
