A great opportunity exists in our growing dental practice for an experienced Dental Receptionist with Dental Assisting experience, who can handle reception and administration duties with professional ease.
This state of the art dental practice requires a well presented, friendly and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist. The required person would be empathetic and considerate of patient needs, provide dental care and exceptional customer service to our patients, be dedicated to learning new skills, have great communication skills and be able to multi task.
Experience & Attributes
- Demonstrated experience in Dental Reception duties.
- Australian dental assisting experience of minimum 1 year
- Excellent knowledge in Dental assisting including stock management
- Knowledge of Dental 4 Windows is an advantage
- Excellent administrative, financial management and reporting skills.
- Professional & personable telephone manner
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- High standard of presentation and confidence
- Marketing abilities will be desirable.
- Responsible, dependable and well organised with attention to detail

The Practice operates Mon-Fri 9-6pm, Thur 9-7pm and Sat 9-3pm. You must be available to work Saturdays if required.

Experience:

Work Eligibility:
- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
Duties:
- Providing chair-side assistance (e.g. handing equipment to dentists, spraying and suction)
- Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed (e.g. billing, maintaining patient records)
- Routinely maintaining and sterilising equipment
- Assisting with front office tasks as needed (e.g. reception)
