We are currently seeking to engage with experienced Clinical Supervisors for Lecturer positions in Chinese Medicine at our Perth campus. This role will see you working across our new clinic teaching blocks and may include teaching pre-clinical practical subjects as well.
We are looking for people motivated by supporting and mentoring our students to become the best practitioners, and making a genuine difference to the profession.
About the role
You will be an integral member of the Academic department by supporting students through their learning journey, meeting their learning needs and preparing them to become high-quality future practitioners.
You will achieve this by:
- Supporting, guiding and managing students’ learning experience within a student clinic setting
- Enhancing provided subject materials with your own professional experiences and stories to provide students with real-world connection and relevance of subject material to their future practice
- Assessing students’ clinical performance on an ongoing basis, identifying students at risk who are not meeting the clinical requirements and mitigating the risk
- Adhering and implementing all Academic Policies while maintaining professional conduct
- Assigning and allocating reception/dispensary rosters, and rescheduling as required
- Supporting students in their treatment of clients including time management, client treatment, diagnosis, recommendations and client confidentiality and file management
- Ensuring that your students are adhering at all times to College policies, procedures and code of conduct

Your ability to communicate effectively, and develop and maintain collaborative relationships along with your proven commitment to high ethical, personal and professional standards will see you well placed for success.
Qualifications, skills and experience that will support you in this role include:
- Clinical supervision experience (or at a minimum pre-clinical supervision experience).
- A Bachelor degree in Chinese Medicine with a post-graduate qualification in a relevant field (completed is highly desired or currently undertaking).
- Current registration as a Chinese Medicine practitioner to relevant professional associations (CMBA/AHPRA).
- Demonstrated, relevant experience working within the Chinese Medicine industry.
