Healesville Hospital has one newly built ( 3.5 years old ) operating theatre and we cover specialities of Endoscopy, Colorectal procedures, General surgery - both open and some laparoscopic and Gynaecology

There is access to 2 surgical beds in the Healesville Ward, which has 15 beds and is adjacent to the theatre, though the majority of our patients are done as day cases

Our theatre is staffed with experienced perioperative nurses and senior medical staff and is a very pleasant working environment and team approach

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Perioperative experience in PACU, Anaesthetics and /or Scrub Scout is essential


• Current Nursing registration with AHPRA 


• Post Graduate qualifications in Perioperative nursing is desirable


• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience


• A strong commitment to high quality care


• The ability to work as part of a diverse team


• Excellent communication and organisational skills
