Alice Springs Hospital is the major acute hospital for Central Australia, with 206 beds, serving up to 60,000 people including visitors to the region. Our Central Sterilising Department is responsible for the safe and effective reprocessing of reusable medical devices used in our perioperative unit, wards and external agencies. Our perioperative unit has five operating theatres supporting a broad number of surgical specialties.
